GT Insurance offers a competitive package, career growth opportunities and a collaborative and supportive team environment.Reporting to the South Australian Manager, you will provide expertise that continues the ongoing growth of the business, whilst providing a high level of customer service to clients.Responsibilities include:Underwriting of heavy and commercial motor business;Act as a referral point to other staff;Build and maintain effective working relationships with Intermediaries;Cover and retain the company’s risk exposure;Monitoring existing business portfolios;Review adverse renewals;Underwriting of renewals, new business and endorsements;Other duties as directed.To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar underwriting role. You must have the ability to make sound underwriting and business decisions, be customer service orientated, maintain a high level of attention to detail and, possess strong communication and computer skills.
