We are backed by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (Allianz), giving our customers the complete peace of mind of knowing their heavy motor vehicles are in trusted hands.  We provide our people opportunities to grow and learn new skills, work collaboratively across different areas, and contribute to collective success. As part of our claims team, you will support a panel of brokers and manage an end-to-end claims process delivering a best practice customer experience.  Reporting into our Claims Team Leader you will be responsible for:  Provide guidance to our brokers and stakeholders, explaining the claims process, documentation requirements, and steps involved in filing a claim.  Assist clients in collating the necessary documents to support their claims, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.  Investigate the claim to assess its validity, which can involve gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, or collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders. Provide prompt attention to all claims in accordance with Company standards and SLA requirements. Negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of customers to secure a fair settlement, this will involve discussing the scope of coverage, policy terms, and the amount to be paid.  Work towards a resolution, either by facilitating the payment of the claim or by aiding if the claim is denied, helping the customer to understand the reasons and potential recourse options. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies. Keep up to date with industry best practices by participating in business related industry forms and working groups.  Skills & Experience:  Experience in the insurance claims industry with in-depth knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, insurance laws and regulations are essential. Relevant compliance and industry qualifications (i.e. ANZIIF qualification, Certificate or Degree) Takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service and effective working relationships with internal and external customers and service providers. Customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle customer complaints, escalations and problem solving.   A team player, who is collaborative, shares their ideas and encourages others.   75000 AUD Melbourne 3004
