GT Marine’s Cargo Insurance products provide cover for a variety of customers including manufacturers, retailers, food processors and more. We offer a suite of annual, open cover, and single shipment policies for domestic and international goods movement.
Choice of cover
Choose the policy that suits your client’s needs. Depending on the complexity of the policy, you can quote and bind online or download a proposal and contact one of our specialists to discuss your policy.
Cargo Insurance within Australia
- Available for a wide range of commodities including general (dry) cargo, livestock, motor vehicles, refrigerated, perishable or chilled goods and many others.
- Covers movements in the insured’s own and third-party vehicles.
- Cover automatically includes a variety of commonly requested additional benefits and extensions – see Features and Benefits Statement in the policy document for details.
- Broad temperature variation/mismanagement cover for temperature controlled goods.
- Available on Sunrise - subject to maximum limits and sendings.
Annual Combined Cargo Insurance
- Optional cover for international movements (imports/exports) and transits within Australia.
- Inland cover on same terms as standalone inland transit cover (as above).
- Overseas cover automatically includes a variety of commonly requested additional benefits and extensions – see Features and Benefits Statement in the policy document for details.
- Available on Sunrise - subject to maximum limits and sendings.
Single Transit Cargo Insurance
- Cover for either an international movement (imports/exports) or a transit within Australia.
- Can accommodate multiple shipments over a period of time as part of a project.
- Cover automatically includes a variety of commonly requested additional benefits and extensions – see Features and Benefits Statement in the policy document for details.
- Optional covers for buyers/sellers contingency.
