In my tenure in the insurance industry, I know it is rare to see an underwriting agency which has provided exceptional value and service to its customers, based on an ethos of fairness in all its dealings, career progression opportunities for its team members and exceptional growth combined with profitable results for its underwriting security. Global Transport, known to us all as GT, has delivered against these criteria.
Having been fortunate to have served as Chairman of GT for over 20 years I have had the pleasure of working with Managing Directors Nick Zissis and Glenn Lambert, and the current CEO, Tony Dodd. It was a privilege to witness Nick’s original vision grow into the vibrant transport sector insurer GT has become.
GT has won many underwriting service awards, but I know the team is most proud of its consistent and exceptional customer satisfaction scores. That is no small achievement and a testament to the culture of management and staff at GT.
My congratulations to all who have been involved in the growth story for the first 25 years and best wishes to GT for continued success over the next 25 and beyond.
